On April 6th and 7th, 2024, the Analogue Audio Association will host the - now 35th - Analog forum under the motto analogue - PURE PLEASURE.
After the successful premiere at the new location in April 2023, the location for the Analog Forum will once again be the Van der Valk Hotel Moers. The event revolves entirely and exclusively around analogue music playback with record players and tape machines.
The hidden sound presentation is particularly exciting in such an environment: Our specialist Erne Kis from Düsseldorf would like to challenge himself to bring the best of the two worlds together - he plays his digital hidden sound sets EVO and ECO from vinyl records using a classic tube preamplifier.
Over 80 exhibitors with more than 150 brands are expected at the forum. You can see and hear purely analogue hi-fi based on the latest technology. In a separate area you can also marvel at classic devices. There is also a “dealer village” with new and 2nd hand LPs and master tapes, phono and tuning accessories, tubes, collectibles and used equipment.
In addition to demonstrations and exhibitions, analogue live recordings and live concerts are planned:
• SANATON - Record Release Concert
The Finnish guitarist Aleksi Rajala presents his new duo together with the German double bassist Florian Dohrmann.
• Jan Krause - Selections
The guitarist Jan Krause presents a carefully selected repertoire including jazz, classical, Latin American music as well as his own compositions, which were lovingly arranged for the acoustic guitar.
• Marcus Sukiennik
As a pianist, composer and arranger, his work explores centuries of musical history. He uses components of classical and jazz, motifs from traditional folk songs as well as pop music elements.
